The Board of Directors of Pulterit is elected at the Association’s autumn meeting. The board is elected by the members of the association present at the meeting for a term of office of one year at a time. The members of the Board are the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Expeditions Officer, two Events and Information Officers and the Editor-in-Chief of Iskos. In addition to these, officers and other representatives are elected for the year.
The Board is responsible for managing the association and the programme of activities for its members, which includes a wide range of recreational activities, training and offering advice on problems. The Board is also responsible for the educational and social welfare of the students of Turku Geology and liaises with the staff of the Department and other subject associations. The Board meets regularly and all meetings are open to members.
